Alden and Marty
Showing off their skills

Marty is having a great time visiting the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB).  Alden invited all the students in the blind elementary school to come "Touch and See". The children were asked to use each of the braillers and then vote on their favorite.

The kids had a great time learning about the different braillers. There was the original Perkins brailler, a Perkins soft touch brailler, a Mount Batten brailler, and Marty!

I found another feature that I love, love, love!  See the buttons on the right hand side? Yep the blue one's that encircle the green button.  If you push the up button then you can scroll through and read what has been brailled.   Pretty awesome right!   The teachers and I had a great time reading through the kids work.

Well the glare is just awful but it says

 "chocalate it is fun"

I think the best part of the day was this..............................Hands on the brailler!

..........Hands on the BRAILLE!

This was a great learning experience for both students and teachers!
